I am a lawyer and HCI researcher, a PhD candidate at Indiana University, Bloomington, working with my advisor, Dr. Colin M. Gray (UXP2 Lab), where my research focuses on understanding technology-related harms. I explore how harm is constructed (through design choices), perceived (by users), and regulated (through policy frameworks), and how scholars from HCI and public policy can collaborate to build ethical technologies and responsive regulation.
I am also very fortunate to collaborate with Dr. Christena Nippert-Eng (C-Lab) on projects on fraud and dark patterns.
